How to Submit Samples

Thank you for your interest in our services. For a cost estimate or volume requirements, please contact the project manager. To submit samples, please follow the directions below. The smaller the set of samples in your study, the higher the costs-per-sample. An additional 10% QC samples will be added to all projects. Our current turnaround time is ~3-5 months (faster for GC-TOF MS projects, slower for targeted LC-MS/MS projects). Once the completed data has been sent, leftover samples will be discarded after one month. Sample submissions with missing information will be immediately returned to the client.


All billing will be processed through our billing system, Stratocore PPMS
To begin using PPMS:

  1. Summit your account request
  2. Wait to receive an account confirmation email

We will not start your project without a valid PPMS account, including updated billing information.

A user help guide is available. If you encounter any technical issues or have questions about PPMS, please email us.

We also will not start your project without an electronic sample list template,  sample submission checklist, and the metabolomics service lab information sheet.


*These are the steps to do.

  1. Request accurate cost estimates for your specific project from [email protected].
  2. Create your billing account at PPMS.
  3. Complete the metabolomics service lab information sheet and include the sample list and the sample submission checklist in the box with your samples.
  4. Email a copy of your sample list (using the WCMC template) to our email [email protected]
  5. Finally, send your samples to:
